A commercially focused management team drives our strategy specialising in the realisation, optimising and scaling of ingredients within the categories of next-generation nutrients for human and animal foodstuffs.
Through innovative laboratory-based essential nutrient development, our team is at the centre of emerging genetically synthesised future foods, with the mission to be part of the solution to a sustainable food system.

Combining 50+ years of experience in biotechnology, chemistry, plant science, food, and FMCG allows our international team to develop and scale wholly-owned IP into sustainable ingredients and raw materials perfected to create a positive impact for brands and products within the food and nutrition producing industries.

Simon has already taken a Latin American medical cannabis project from concept to buy-out by a publicly listed company. Desiring to see further ethical innovation into future foods, in Co-founding Hemptech Life, he has brought together a top-tier of STEM and Branding professionals capable of making their shared dream a reality.

With 25 years of business development within Food & FMCG. Johan has managed high-performing marketing and sales departments in global corporations. His vision of future wholesale and consumer food products led him to Co-found Hemptech Life.
James Case
Chief Operations Officer
Experienced with establishing complex international operations, and with 20 years of passion for the hemp plant, James knows how to see projects from concept to operative. Before joining our team, he established the British based Canyou CBD brand. James is also a Co-founder of Hemptech Life.

In addition to the accounting and finance skill set required, Grayson has a network of security, lawyers and business leaders. He is very familiar with the process for the public listing of a businesses.

Alex has developed nearly 20 years’ experience in supporting private sector development, performing as a management consultant, adviser, project manager, and trainer. He supported numerous start-ups and SMEs across different industry sectors, including life sciences and medical technologies internationally.

A figure of renown within the world of microbiology, Mauricio has experience in the specifics of bacterial and yeast culturing for the purposes of the manipulation of DNA in organisms. He will be key to creating the virtual and then commercial mapping of C. Sativa and its synthesis within the Hemptech Life laboratory in Malta.

With a doctorate (c) in protein reuptake of mammalian systems, Carolina has an exceptional understanding of the commercial priorities of Hemptech Life and how these lead to commercial success for the business. Her time working within the science department at the Javeriana University, Colombia, has seen her publish two relevant papers.

A science professional with a particular interest in cannabinoids and their therapeutic use. Drochss will assist our microbiology team with the objectives set down by the company’s management.
